Gynecologists and family physicians are the practitioners who can more easily integrate the FSD diagnosis in the body of their existing knowledge, just adding a few specific competences to the well structured scenario of pathophysiologic reading of women’s endocrine, metabolic, and genital health.
Whatever the medical or genital sexual symptom complained of, a structured multidisciplinary integrative approach is key to competently address the complexity of the etiology of FSD.
